Do you want Accuracy with Award-winning and Innovative Products?

Sage K-I page.jpg

We have been specifying thermal mass flowmeters for 18+ years and Sage Metering gives you innovative, high-performance gas flowmeters for gas mass flow measurement.  Sage was originator of the first thermal mass flow meter to utilize graphical displays, a hybrid digitally driven circuit and pioneered the industry’s first in-situ calibration verification system.  The high contrast graphical display provides you flow rate, temperature, total flow, a bar graph, and diagnostic information. The digitally-driven circuit eliminates the traditional drift-prone analog Wheatstone bridge, improving your stability, elminating long term drift and provides a reproducble zero flow data point.  This enables you to perform a simple single-point in-situ calibration verfication traceable back to the original NIST calibration certificate.  You can perform this check while the process is running with the SageCom™ software, downloading the results into a PDF format.

How you benefit by using the Sage Paramount Flow Meter:

  • Measures direct mass flow rate/total without needing additional pressure and temperature instruments

  • Insertion probes (for 1.5" - 36" pipes) with optional retractor allows you easy removal and isolation

  • Digital Sensor Drive ensures you measurement stability over time

  • SageCom™ software for expanded gas selection menu allows you to choose from available list of gases/gas mixes to measure flow. and perform NIST-traceable calibration, Bluetooth now available

  • Calibration milliwatts is continuously displayed, providing you ongoing diagnostics

  • Standard 4-20 mA, pulse & Modbus RS-485 outputs, w/optional HART protocol gives you plenty of communication choices

  • Field Zero Calibration Check gives you confidence meter hasn't drifted (download via SageCom™ software) for reporting

  • 24 VDC in local or remote enclosures with optional 120 VAC

How you benefit by using the Sage Prime Flow Meter:

  • Measures direct mass flow rate/total without needing additional pressure and temperature instruments

  • Low-End Sensitivity – Measures as low as 5 SFPM (e.g., 1 SCFM in a 6" pipe) gives you confidence on stable lower flow rates

  • High contrast photo-emissive OLED display with numerical Flow Rate, Total and Temperature, as well as Graphical Flow Indicator and millWatts for real-time operation and ongoing diagnostics

  • Standard 4-20 mA, Pulse, Modbus RS-485 with Optional HART allows you your choice of communications protocols

  • Rugged, user-friendly packaging with easy terminal access

  • Wide measurement range, 100:1 Typical Turndown

  • Field reconfigurability via optional SageCom™ Validation and Configuration Software gives you flexibility in the field

Prime Inline

How you benefit by using a Sage Prime Inline Flow Meter:

  • In-situ Calibration Verification Procedure of sensor’s performance – verifies that the sensor is clean, and assures that there is no drift, or shift in the flow meter—Takes only three minutes!

  • Calibration milliwatts (mW) is continuously displayed, providing for ongoing diagnostics

  • Isolated 4-20 mA output and pulsed output of Totalized Flow

  • Modbus compliant RS485 RTU communications (BACnet optional)

  • Remote style has Lead-Length Compensation. Allows remote electronics up to 1000 feet from probe; Explosion Proof Junction Box has no circuitry, just terminals

  • 24 VDC or optional 110/220VAC in local or remote enclosures

300 Series
